Online store returns

Online store merchandise is returnable for refund within 30 days of shipping date, accompanied by your order number and contact information and in resalable condition.
 
Important, the return deadline for course materials purchased for summer term is 7 days from the start of the course.

We will not refund snacks, sale items and seasonal items.

Returns must be accompanied by your order number and contact information, and be in resalable condition.

Exceptions: Special orders and sale items (final sale).

In your return shipment, please include:

  • Item(s) being returned
  • Your receipt or a printout of your order record
  • Original packaging, if possible
  • Reason for return.

You will be notified by e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item (usually within seven to 14 days of receiving).

You can save the shipping costs by returning your item in person to the UBC Bookstore.

Online exchanges

Please return the original item first and then re-order the correct one.

Damaged, defective, wrong item or missing parts?
Please return the item(s) upon receipt to the above address. Please confirm whether you want a refund or a replacement. We will be glad to refund original shipping charges for items being returned due to our error.
